Would you buy this car again? YES
Extremely happy with my vehicle, has had a couple of small warranty claims due to being the first run but nothing which has affected my ownership. Drives well on the road and surprising off road in just how capable it is for a dual cab ute with ifs. The curve at the rear of the cab sets it apart from other makes and stops it being ‘just another dual cab’.
My biggest gripe would be the three piece hard lid and lack of tie down points in the tub as it restricts what can be loaded but for my needs these have been negated by a few mods, roof racks on the hardlid allow me to carry a lot more when camping and gives storage for transporting my bikes when required. The security the hardlid offers far outweighs the negatives of the load restrictions. The electric rear window is something I use all the time, although gimmicky at first, has been one of my favourite features.
The engine, while reasonably noisy, has never missed a beat and has been strong. Fuel economy I’m happy with at roughly 10.3l/100km in a mix of city/highway/offroad use.
I have not had an issue or breakdown which hasn’t been caused by myself, through lack of maintenance or lack of mechanical sympathy. Repairs have been easy and most of them are able to be done in the driveway at home.
Absolutely love this car and would buy the same model again in a heartbeat.
Have taken it through Coffs Harbour tracks, beach runs, Glasshouse Mts, long road trips and found it to be comfortable and easy to drive.
