Excellent vehicle on road. Very powerful SUV with surprisingly low fuel consumption on the open road.
Outstanding comfort and safety features with the electronic convenience group add on. Remote start is perfect for the Summer heat and remote tailgate makes it easy for the missus juggling shopping and kids.
Would have no issues taking it on a beach or trail but clearance would be limiting factor anywhere else. If I had my choice I would have gone for the Trailhawk (but have a capable 4×4 anyway).
Only minor warranty works required so far (blind spot monitoring sensors faulted). Was initially concerned about Internet reports on failing transmissions but have learnt this was quickly resolved. Not sure if we’ve ever made it into 9th gear but it obviously helps with consumption, typically 8.4L/100km extra urban. When you put your foot down it just goes, no hesitation like that experienced in the CVT driven competition.
Yes, I bought a Jeep… and it’s white.
