Owner’s Thoughts

I purchased this D40 with 30,000kms on the clock from a Nissan dealer. It had canopy and roof rack but otherwise was stock standard. Since I purchased it I have added 2″ suspension lift with constant leafs, these D40’s have very minimum ground clearance from the factory. I’ve upgraded the stereo and added a reverse camera. I’ve fitted a set of all terrain tyres, on-board air system with holding tank, solar, dual batteries, awning, a bullbar and winch. Under tray water tank and shower, steel cage and drop down 80 litre fridge.

I have built everything on this vehicle myself from the solar instillation to building tray and cage. It gives me great satisfaction to sit down with a cold beer after a day of mods, knowing I built it to how I want it. All from my own home and without the costly price tag!

I’m now looking forward to getting the D40 out and about exploring this great country.
