General Motors has released a promising looking teaser image of one of the two Chevrolet Colorado concepts expected to make an appearance at next week’s Bangkok motor show.
Promising because it hints at some pretty cool features, including pumped wheel arch flares, what looks like a factory snorkel and one of those Thai style roof baskets that seem to be popular with 4X4 concepts at the moment.
The accessorised concept potentially points to an expanding range of Colorado accessories being made available when the 2017 model year update hits our shores later this year. This is a trend amongst 4X4 manufacturers that is gathering steam, with Toyota and Mazda offering an ever expanding range of accessories, from bullbars through to steel trays.
Chevrolet’s only statement on the concepts is that they “point to an exciting future direction for Chevrolet in Thailand”.
At this point in time, it is unknown how much of that exciting future direction will make it into the Aussie version of the 2017 Colorado.
The Colorado concepts will be unveiled at the Bangkok motor show on the 22nd of March.
