Jeep Australia has confirmed the imminent release of the Grand Cherokee SRT Night, a blacked out, stealthed up factory customised version of the Grand Cherokee SRT.
The usual SRT ‘bits’ are all present, including the 6.4-litre 344kW / 624Nm HEMI V8 capable of punching the AWD/4WD Grand Cherokee to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds.
The ‘Night’ treatment adds a black roof, black seven-slot grille, black lower front fascia, black badging, black side window surrounds and satin black 20-inch “5Ten” lightweight wheels.
The black wheels surround a meaty set of Brembo brakes which were missed by the man with the tin of black paint, they are red instead.
The interior is, you guessed it, black and features black Laguna leather upholstery with silver accent stitching, complemented by black chrome and anodized silver instrument bezels.
Jeep has even thrown in their Harman Kardon 825-watt, 19-speaker premium audio system, knowing the best way to brighten up the night, is with a sweet tune.
“The Night edition gives our customers the opportunity to purchase a customised vehicle straight from the dealership, with Jeep’s most popular style enhancements already applied,” said FCA Australia’s Director of Product and Marketing, Zac Loo.
The Grand Cherokee SRT Night is limited to just 120 units, and will land in Australia in June. Pricing is yet to be confirmed with the ‘regular’ SRT currently retailing for bang on $90,000 plus on-roads.
